You know how people take screen shots of someone’s tweet and then post it? Is there a name for those?

Building a reputable brand can take years... destroying it can take minutes.

If not, I think they should be called “bird macros” or something. Damn you Twitter!

I’ve never seen anyone do that before. Maybe I don’t hang out in the right crowds? *shrug* I think you can call it whatever you want, no rules out here on such a thing. Personally, I don’t think I’m going to justify the screenshots like that with any sort of proper/formal name — seems kinda trivial and unimportant.

Funny, I just did this–posted a screenshot of Dave Winer’s tweet.

Bird macro implies a bird in the picture. It’s more like a Twittershot (Twitter + screenshot).

“trivial and unimportant”? How dare you even suggest blogging, or Twittering, or macros are any of those thing!?!? :)

Of course, I realize now that you’ve disabled images in comments, Pete.
