So I have a user ask me the following...

"Can I have the internet on my computer?"

To which I replied:

"No, it won't fit. The internet consists of billions of documents and in increasing exponentially on an almost daily basis."

However, we can give you *access* to the internet...

Yeah, I'm no BOFH, but I try... ;)

So I later get a phone call from [name deleted] asking why she/he can't 'have the internet on their computer'?

No one appreciates geek humor.

So I explain it again... and again... and I added in that I asked everyone who had a web site to put the files on floppy disk and send them to me, and I then compressed them, but they still wouldn't fit.... and one more time... and finally he/she got it.

Like I said... no one appreciates geek humor.
