logansrun

So I'm home on a Friday afternoon, as I usually am, and TNT is running a 'Logan's Run' marathon. Sure, we all remember the movie Logan's Run, it was pretty cool. Well, I kinda vaguely remember the show, as I was pretty young when it aired (sometime in the 70's based on the costumes I saw) So anyway, the show starred Gregory Harrison, the guy from Trapper John, M.D. (he played Gonzo, I believe) and I gotta tell ya, it was bad. Like real bad. Like stinky poo-poo bad. Wow. It was bad. I could barely watch it. But I did, that's the kind of TV afficianado I am.

I think Logan's Run was one of those movies that you just can't, or maybe shouldn't make into a series. Much like V. V was a cool mini-series, but the show, while it did have almost 50 acts of violence in a one hour show, just somehow didn't cut it... Know what I mean?

If you get a chance to see this show, but someone asks you to clean their gutters, you might wanna go with the gutters option, it might be slightly more entertaining, unless you're like a huge Gregory Harrison fan, as many people are!
