spills
I used to not spill things on the keyboard, but recently I've, well, been not as lucky. The last thing I spilled was either milk (cuz I was eating cereal) or a Mountain Dew (cuz I was falling asleep) The milk damage was minimal, the Mountain Dew is on my lesser used PC keyboard, and now the shift and return keys are slow in popping up. Which tends to produce DOuble UPper case letters, I just have to type slower...
We seemed to be having lots of keyboard problems at work, so I needed a 'key puller' I managed to build one, rather than buying one, saving us untold dollar amounts, I'm guessing key pullers go for hundreds of dollars these days.

Besides the milk and Mountain Dew that I had, someone else spilled soda, and I mean it SPILLED! I walked away with the keyboard dripping... I also got a keyboard that seemed to have rubber cement spilled into it. That made the keys stick real good. This isn't a spill, but someone said they yanked the shift key off and tried to stick it back on because it 'wasn't moving right' (note that they YANKED it off, not carefully removed it with a key puller)
I did spill Kool-Aid yesterday (some variant of Mountain Berry Twist) but since a photo of Kool-Aid Man was watching from behind the monitor, none got on the keyboard. Emma also managed to spill a cup of water, but that just soaked the desk nicely. No damage to any input devices.
