05.17.1999	Breaking the $199 point for a digital camera... In case you can't figure it out, May has been one crazy month... I'm not sure when we'll return to regular broacasts... I've got a copy of MacHTTP on my Mac dated May 3, 1995... and it runs, and it works fine... so if you need to run a webserver on a Mac made circa 1995, MacHTTP should work... I've heard reports of it running fine on a Mac Plus too! Try that with your old 286 box with DOS/Windows... First Revelation Records, now Tony Hawk? Gee, when will Apple feature *me* on their site!? ok, that's NOTHING! Can they possibly top THIS!!!??? Ugh, our new cable company is Charter Communications, who I've never heard of until today. The do offer net access, but I'm sure not in my area until around 2010 (or later... I'm one of them rural peoples... ) Sure fast download is nice, but I need fast upload too, and in some places you still need a modem to upload! ...For $35 per month, I want at least 256k upload speeds... Charter looks like it may suck as bad as Marcus... wow, do I miss Warner, I mean Time/Warner cable... It might be time to look at Primestar again!
