Bugzilla
Bugzilla is moving along, though I still think it needs to find a little common ground between being really powerful and a bit of a pain to set up. I don’t enjoy installing things that suggest that recompiling Apache or Perl might solve your problems…
Wrist PDA

IE Holes
From Wired: How Much Hack Info Is Too Much?
…a bit of programming code embedded in a Web page can reformat site visitors’ hard drives, deleting all files stored on the affected drive. The exploit affects users running Microsoft Internet Explorer browser versions 5.5 or 6.0.

RSS 2.0
We’re on our way to completing the RSS 2.0 feed for this site. So for now we’re replacing the old feed with the new. If anyone has a problem with that, let me know. We considered keeping the 0.91 feed around, but probably won’t unless someone asks for it. What does this mean to you? Well, you can actually read the stuff here using your aggregator there. Seems to work ok in NetNewsWire and AmphetaDesk so far. Thanks (as always) to diveintomark, which provided much useful information on the format…
During this transition period, there may be breakage. There may be times things don’t validate. We apologize for this. Still, we’re probable doing better than most large corporations in respect to following in web standards.
