I must admit that I am no expert on REST or SOAP, but I really doubt the people who created SOAP said to themselves: Hmmm, we need a protocol that will stop the progress of building GUI software that runs over the internet. Oh, and we don’t like personal computers! It almost sounds like FUD on Dave’s part…
