So I bugged Aaron a bit, and bugged Morbus a bit, and messed with Aaron’s original code and got amphetafeed.pl, which should let you add a channel to AmphetaDesk while it’s not running.
It works for me anyway. amphetafeed.pl is over in code/src/amphetadesk
