In other Apple news, I’m excited about the release of the new Airport Extreme, mainly because it means that I might be able to get a used older Airport by some Apple-nut who always has to get the latest and greatest… And by my calculations I should be able to afford to purchase a used, original Titanium PowerBook in another three years or so…
Safari first look
What can I say about Safari?
The browser itself does not support tabbed browsing. I will never use it except for testing.
Says Mark. That pretty much sums it up for me.
Hmmm, come to think of it, I’ll have more on Safari tomorrow. It is still beta, after all…
b2
I knew about b2 but never really checked it out before. It’s a nice little system. It appears to be GPL‘d so I might actually look into using it.
Of course as I need to build a simple and small CMS for someone in the next few weeks, I might just borrow some ideas. ;)
It’s a Geo!
I glad that someone is finally doing something interesting with the geo meta tags I added a while back. Introducing the GeoURL ICBM Address Server.
Tickets please!
The new ticketstubs site is interesting. I really don’t have many ticket stubs. I’d say 99% of the bands I saw play over the years didn’t require tickets and the only proof of entry was an ink splotch or magic marker on the back of my hand, which would last about 3 to 7 days, depending on the frequency of showers at any given time.
