PNG is Portable Network Graphics

The work continues on creating a fully modern web site… We’ve opted to use a PNG image here and there, and oh, looks like IE on Windows is having some problems… ah well, the price of progress… In that case, I think I might convert all images to PNG…

What’s the current status of PNG support in web browsers:

As of mid-2002, things are actually looking quite good–with the continued exception of MSIE for Windows, of course…

Big TV

The female’s dad got a new TV. A really big TV. I mean a really big TV. I can’t tell you how many inches the screen is, I’d have to estimate in feet, and it’s about 5 or 6 feet across. Wow. We watched Spiderman and while I expected not to like it, it was pretty good. I’m sure the big screen, as it were, helped a bit. When we went home we had to watch our 27 inch TV, and it felt… small…
