BarCampMilwaukee5 Time Lapse Video

Time Lapse Bot was at BarCampMilwaukee5 on October 2nd/3rd, 2010 and was very busy! They took over 7,400 pictures and then compiled this video for us to watch. You missed the event? See it happen in about 4 minutes by watching the video.

Production Assistant Needed

Are you interested in the exciting world of filming things? Pointing cameras at people while they do things? Lighting? Sound? Well, have I got an offer for you!

I’m filming two days next month where I could use a Production Assistant. Ah yes, a Production Assistant… Sometimes considered the lowest of the low jobs on set, but not our sets! If you’re interested in how all this filming stuff works, you can hang out with us for a day and see what we do. It should be a pretty laid-back shoot, but we could still use one more person who is willing to help out, and willing to learn.

So what will you get?

Here’s a video from BarCampMadison, which took place August 28, 2010 in Madison, Wisconsin. The session was titled “Building Strong Communities for Hacker/Maker Spaces” and was presented by Bob Waldron.

Just a note on this video, the production is a bit poor, but I felt it was still worth sharing. I set up the camera, hit record, and ran in and out between sessions. I did the best I could to clean up the audio, but didn’t really edit the image quality at all.
